Play Golf at The K-Club, Ireland

What should be the 1st course to play for your Irish Golf Tour? This question leads to identifying what courses and tee times that are available. From the outset, most golfers would like to play a notable links golf course and what top courses are available to play if the links courses are not? In this case, selecting the K-Club as the first course for the golf trip is not a bad call.

Five reasons why golfers are playing golf at the K-Club in Kildare, Ireland.

1. The Location:

The course and resort are located less than 40 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport and about 45 minutes to Dublin City centre depending on traffic.

2. The Golf Course

Yes, the K-Club has hosted a Ryder Cup and a number of European Tour PGA events. The famous Rory McIlroy was the victor the last time the Irish Open was played at the K-Club. Also, Concierge Golf Ireland’s golfer’s feedback suggests that golfers considered the K-Club to be a really nice enjoyable round of golf. Although, the green course is just shy of 6,300 yards in length and there is still plenty of hitting required to score on each hole. Notably, the white course measures around 6,815 for a more challenging course to play. However, there are over 7,300 yards to play from back tees for the golfers that hit that ball a long, long way.

3. Services provided

The spike bar located next to the golf shop and also there is easy access for golfer’s starting from the 1st and walking from the 9th green to the 10th You can expect to purchase a range of beers, spirits and soft drinks. Also, there is a small selection of ready to go or hot sandwiches along with a couple of fruit selections, power and chocolate bars. Additionally, I have experienced nice, friendly and helpful customer service. The golf shop has plenty of good quality golf clothing and accessories to purchase if needed. Of course, the main restaurant can cater for all sorts of occasions. Finally, there are plenty of people working and I found the team at the K-Club to me more than helpful with all of my requests.

4. Warm up before you play

Furthermore, from the practice ground golfers can beat as many balls as they like before teeing off from the 1st The putting green located next to the hitting area and this green tends to be running at the same pace as the on-course greens. The range turf is pretty close to the golf course turf also.

5. Not to forget!

The ladies and gents locker rooms are perfect for a quick shower before or after golf to freshen up. The restaurant in the main clubhouse offers a range of food options for light snacks or a bigger meal.
