Payments
Payments may be made by credit card over the telephone, bank wire transfers, or via asecure payment link issued by email. Prices are quoted and are calculated using the
prevailing EUR or GBP at the time the quotation or amendment is issued. Concierge Golf Ireland accepts no responsibility for fluctuations in exchange rates.
An initial deposit is required upon confirmation of booking. This deposit is applied toward advance payments required by third-party service providers, including, but not limited to, golf courses, hotels, transportation providers, and other suppliers. Such payments may fall due on multiple dates from the time of booking up to and including 90 days prior to the commencement of the trip.
The balance of the total trip cost is due no later than 90 days before the trip start date. This final payment is required to discharge all remaining obligations to service providers, including accommodation, transport, green fees, and any additional services requested by the group. All payments made in respect of services are non-refundable, save where expressly stated
otherwise in writing.
Refunds
Concierge Golf Ireland (“the Company”) acts as an intermediary between the travelling golfer(s) and third-party service providers. The Company is contractually bound by the terms and conditions imposed by those service providers, including golf clubs, hotels, transport operators, and ancillary service suppliers. Once payments have been remitted to any service provider, and depending on that provider’s individual cancellation and refund policies, refunds may not be available in the event of a cancellation, date change, or other amendment initiated by the traveller for any reason. In particular, amounts paid to golf courses, hotels, and transport providers in accordance with the agreed payment schedule are generally non-refundable and non-transferable. Concierge Golf Ireland shall not be liable for any losses arising from the enforcement of such third-party policies.
Deposits
The deposit paid at the time of booking is used to satisfy the staged deposit and advance payment requirements imposed by golf courses, hotels, and other service providers between the booking date and 90 days prior to the trip commencement date. In the event of a cancellation by an individual traveller, any uncommitted funds held by Concierge Golf Ireland at the time of cancellation may be refunded. However, amounts already paid to third-party suppliers are subject to those suppliers’ terms and may not be recoverable.
Where a replacement traveller assumes the cancelled participant’s place, any financial
arrangements relating to that substitution shall be a private matter between the respective travellers, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Company. The full trip balance is not required until 90 days prior to the trip start date. Golf courses typically require a percentage deposit at the time of booking, with full payment required at
any point from booking through to 90 days prior to play. Hotels and transport providers may require payment anywhere between 45 and 360 days in advance of arrival. Other services arranged on behalf of the group (including sightseeing, dining, or special experiences) may be subject to separate terms and conditions. While Concierge Golf Ireland will make reasonable efforts to assist in mitigating the effects of unforeseen circumstances, it cannot guarantee recovery of funds paid to third-party suppliers.
Cancellation of Trip
In the event of a cancellation, any refund of funds held by Concierge Golf Ireland shall be limited to the cash balance remaining after deduction of committed supplier payments and any applicable transaction or administrative costs. Once all payments have been made to service providers, including in cases of late or last- minute cancellation, no refunds will be available. Clients are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including cover for cancellation, curtailment, travel disruption, and public health–related issues (including COVID-19 or similar events). Many golf service providers do not offer refunds or credits under any circumstances.
Travel Disruptions and Compliance
Concierge Golf Ireland accepts no liability for travel disruptions, delays, cancellations, or denied entry affecting travel to or from Ireland, Scotland, England, or any other destination. Each traveller is solely responsible for ensuring full compliance with all applicable passport, visa, health, customs, and entry requirements imposed by the countries they are visiting. Failure to comply with such requirements shall not constitute grounds for a refund.
