Irish Fun Times:

Fun times Irish Golf times. Fun times playing golf and spending time in Irish cities & towns Dublin, Lahinch and Galway will create memories for our lifetimes. Notably, almost every golf vacation request we deal with is not just about playing the great Irish Golf Links courses. But, enjoying great Irish food and experiencing Irish culture.

Therefore, the plan, a four-person Irish Golf Tour with both a cultural & golf experience. It’s easy to find a seat to fly to Dublin Airport. Dublin airport has a wide range of international flight options to most of the European and North American major airports. Experience Dublin’s fun nightlife in the capital city of Ireland, followed by a night or two in Lahinch, the foremost golfing and surf town on the west coast of Ireland. Finally, a night in Galway and enjoy the Irish traditional music in the pubs along Quay Street. This is simple easy and fun to do!

Irish Golf Tee Times:

The plan! Arrive on an early flight into Dublin airport and play at Portmarnock Golf Club. The following day, play at Lahinch Golf Club and if you want more golf? Pop across the road and play the shorter Castle Course at Lahinch. It’s a fun course to play, driveable par 4s, short par 3s and a good fun course for skins games. Play Doonbeg on day 3 and on day 4, play Galway Bay Golf Resort on route to Galway City.

The mix of golf courses from Portmarnock, Lahinch, Doonbeg & Galway Bay offers a completely different experience at each course. In a nutshell, Portmarnock lacks the undulating sand dunes that Doonbeg & Lahinch have, but Portmarnock is a really tough course to play to handicap. Lahinch & Portmarnock are steeped in golfing lore, both are classic style links golf courses and they are ranked highly thought out the golfing world. Also, both golf clubs have been around since the crack of time with important historical stories from the amateur and professional golf tournaments hosted at each golf course. Doonbeg is the best play & stay golf resort in Ireland and Doonbeg offers golfers a very nice customer golf experience.

The Sample Itinerary:

Wednesday. Portmarnock Golf Club
Thursday. Lahinch Golf Club
Friday. Trump Doonbeg Golf Resort
Saturday. Galway Bay Golf Resort
Sunday. Depart from Dublin or Shannon Airport

Where To Stay!:

You will find pubs, vibrant nightlife (yes in Lahinch too!) and a good laugh in every Irish city, town and village. The fun is made by the group and their interaction with the characters within the pub. Each town and city will have their own sub-cultures that they are passionate about. I would suggest starting up a conversation on any topic in that social environment. You might find that most Irish people you meet in a pub are experts on everything! Enjoy the entertainment from their opinions.

City centre hotel locations are good for touring Dublin, whilst Lahinch offers the Golf & Leisure Hotel, Vaughan Lodge or a host of B&Bs are plentiful. Notably, for Galway City Centre, the best-located hotel to Quay Street is hotel Jurys Inn. However, the Harbour Hotel or G-Hotel are other good locations also. Ultimately, the 3*/4* hotels are located closer to the nightlife in Galway and Dublin. Whereas, the 5* hotels are located in quieter parts of the cities.

Wednesday. The Gibson Hotel 4* / Templer Bar Hotel 3* / Merrion Hotel 5*
Thursday. The Lahinch Golf & Leisure 3* / Vaughan Lodge 4* / Moy House 5*
Friday. The Lahinch Golf & Leisure / Vaughan Lodge / Moy House
Saturday. Jurys Inn 3* / Harbour Hotel 3* / The G-Hotel 5*
Sunday. Check out and homeward Bound
